Originating from the name of the home of Ceylon Tea and where tea was first planted in Sri Lanka, Kandy is a major city located in the Central Province. We have stitched this bright, light tea with a NEW TWIST, now made with date molasses!

Our exciting new Saffron Kandy Chai blend is exotic but a very friendly and warm chai. Every cup is a comforting drink to have in the morning, the afternoon or to welcome your guests at home.

Saffron Chai goes beyond warming your soul with beneficial health properties. Each saffron strand is powerful with high levels of antioxidants and has been linked to other health benefits such as the potential enhancement of mood, skin and eyesight among others.

Date Molasses goes back approximately 6,000 years and is delicious and has beneficial properties. Also known as date syrup, it contains potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, all of which are macrominerals and are required by the body (by eating a wide variety of foods). Date molasses comes directly from the fruit and is minimally processed, it contains fibre because dates have that!

1. Add 25g of Saffron Kandy Chai to a jug.
2. Brew with 50ml-80ml of boiling water for 2:30mins.
3. Add 200g of hot milk, agitate and strain.
