    ABOUT THE BEAN:

    La Esperanza is a small farm located in the village of Palestina, Huila - a region blessed with the perfect environmental conditions for coffee cultivation. This means rich soil, good rainfall, cool temperatures and high elevation. In an environment like this, coffee will thrive. However, even by the standards of the region, La Esperanza stands out. What sets it apart from its neighbours is the craftsmanship of the farm’s producer Guillermo Mompotes – a man dedicated to producing the best coffee he possibly can.

    This dedication shines through in this washed Caturra. Expect to find a cup overflowing with notes of stone fruit, caramel and floral. Together, these flavours result in a fragrant and juicy coffee complimented by a complex sweetness and balanced acidity. A classic Colombian!
