    ABOUT THE BEAN:

Kabumbu Kidogo is a small, multi-generational coffee estate in Kirinyaga Country, Central Kenya. Producer Joseph Mugo Karaba inherited the estate from his father, and now lives and works there with his family. Kabumbu Kidogo exists in the perfect conditions for coffee cultivation: heights of 1,500-1,750 metres above sea level, a cool climate, and fertile, nutrient rich volcanic soil combine to produce outstanding quality coffees.

The coffee we have here – a fully washed mix of SL28, SL34 and Baitan – exemplifies Kabumbu Kidogo’s quality. This is a delicious and quintessentially Kenyan coffee. Expect to find a cup brimming with notes of crisp apple and stone fruit like apricot, finished with a rich honey sweetness. Balanced, bright and sweet – this offering from Kabumbu Kidogo highlights everything we love about Kenyan coffee.
