    ABOUT THE BEAN:

This natural processed Tabi from Buenos Aires tastes like nothing else we’ve ever had. Truly – it’s even a new varietal of coffee!

Tabi, recently developed by “Federacion Nacional de Cafeteros”, is a cross between Timor hybrid, Bourbon and Typica. To make this coffee even more unique, this lot was exposed to a dry anaerobic fermentation of 48 hours, during which citric acid and de-hydrated mandarin skin were added to the anaerobic environment to impart a distinctive and effervescent citrus flavour profile.

Expect a cup sparkling with orange candy and dried mandarin, coupled with a rich dark honey sweetness. This is a phenomenally complex, sweet and bright coffee – it’s like liquid candy! Like we said, this is one of the most unique flavour experiences we’ve had, and we love it.
