About the Bean
Given most of the 5,600 Kamachiria FCS members acquired their farms from parents, you could say this coffee comes from a family business (albeit, a very big one). Approximately 960 members local to Murang’a poured their cherries into Kagumoini washing station. There, under the eye of manager Alphonse Kamweru Maina, the cherries were hand sorted, de-pulped, washed, dry fermented, and graded. Such a meticulous effort translates into the coffee’s abundance of flavour. Expect a clean cup boasting notes of blood orange, tart cranberry, and sugarcane sweetness.
