Your Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages with precision and consistency, ensuring each cup meets our strict standards of excellence.
- Showcase your skill and creativity through meticulous latte art elevating the visual appeal of each beverage.
- Engage customers in meaningful conversations about our premium coffee offerings, sharing insights into origins, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques to enhance their coffee knowledge and appreciation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to stringent hygiene and safety protocols. Regularly calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the Head Barista, fellow baristas and team members, supporting each other to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Cultivate a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, providing attentive and personalized service to create a memorable experience for every customer.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Contribute to the overall ambiance of our coffee shop by assisting with tasks such as organizing displays and maintaining an inviting environment.
Requirements:
- Proven at least 2 years of experience as a specialty coffee barista, by demonstrating the skills listed below:
- A good and proven skills in operating and maintaining our professional equipments such as Tone, Uber, Fetco and Wally.
- Able to communicate the profile of coffee origins to customers in a professional manner that is engaging and leading the conversations toward sales.
- Able to conduct a TDS reading and adjust brew and extraction variables to develop an excellent coffee tasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in informative and enjoyable conversations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate the needs of our customers.
- High standards of professionalism, hygiene, and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a strong work ethic.
