About the Bean
A cup produced from five generations of coffee expertise and 100% renewable energy sources. Producer Diego Guardia co-manages the farm with his father Alberto, who pioneered alternative processing techniques in the Central Valley. While this coffee underwent traditional natural processing, it was done so by harvesting power from freshwater streams using a Pelton Wheel (also supplying power to the on-site mill and free electricity to workers residing on the farm). Expect distinctive sweetness with enhanced fruit notes that best showcase the pristine nature of Costa Rican coffee.
