Vibrant and juicy, with great intensity and structure. Pineapple and golden raspberry, with a silky, tea-like body.
Sitting at 1,950m above sea level, Ayla washing station produces exceptional washed and natural processed lots. This coffee is classified as Grade 1, the highest quality classification for Ethiopian coffees.
The cherries were pulped within 8 hours of harvesting. The parchment-covered coffee was then soaked in tanks of clean water for 36–48 hours to remove the mucilage The coffee is then re-washed and graded again by density before being dried on raised beds.
