We are looking for a hands-on Coffee Production & Dispatch Assistant to join our roastery and operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in building a career within the Specialty Coffee industry.

About the Role
As a Coffee Production & Dispatch Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our roastery and warehouse. You will assist with packaging preparation, order fulfilment, stock organisation, dispatch activities, and general operational support, helping ensure our Coffee is packed, stored, and delivered accurately and efficiently.
Working closely with our production, roasting, and operations teams, you will gain valuable exposure to the broader Specialty Coffee industry while developing your skills across logistics, inventory management, fulfilment, and Coffee operations.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the quality, consistency, and care that define Stitch Coffee while building hands-on experience within a growing Specialty Coffee Company.
Your Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Label and prepare Coffee packaging materials for production, dispatch, and operational activities
- Pick, pack, and dispatch wholesale, retail, and e-commerce orders accurately
- Support Coffee packing, sealing, palletising, and dispatch preparation
- Assist with organising roasted Coffee, packaging, stock, and warehouse materials
- Maintain clean, organised, and food-safe warehouse, roasting, dispatch, and packing areas
- Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory checks
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles and courier shipments
- Follow food safety, quality control, and workplace safety procedures
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or maintenance issues
- Support the wider team across warehouse, production, dispatch, and roastery operations
Requirements:
- Full-time availability
- Valid working rights for full-time employment in Australia
- Ability to follow safety, food handling, quality, and workplace procedures at all times
- Previous experience in Specialty Coffee, hospitality, warehouse, production, packing, or food manufacturing environments will be highly regarded
- Exposure to Coffee, roasting, production, logistics, or supply chain operations will be advantageous
