    The Role:As the Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations and long-term success of the store. You’ll be responsible for creating an inspiring culture, achieving business goals, and ensuring seamless operations across the front and back of house.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership: Motivate, train, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional performance and achieve KPIs.
    • Business Strategy: Understand and implement strategies to drive sales, manage costs, and grow the store’s success.
    • Operational Excellence:
    • Balance and optimise staff rosters to meet business needs, ensuring the store is always well-prepared for busy periods.
    • Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
    • Manage inventory and ordering to ensure the store is always stocked with the right products while minimising waste.
    • Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service and create memorable experiences for every customer, with a focus on upselling and retail excellence.
    • Performance Management: Build performance reports, set KPIs, and ensure your team consistently delivers on targets.
    • Square Proficiency: Utilise the Square POS system effectively, including backend setup and reporting.
    • Recruitment and Training: Hire, train, and onboard new staff to build a high-performing, cohesive team.
    • Vision and Brand Building: Bring creativity and a hunger to build the brand, always looking for ways to elevate the store’s presence and impact.
    • Collaboration: Bridge the gap between front of house and back of house, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork.
    • Organisation: Maintain impeccable organisation across operations, inventory, and schedules.

    About You:We’re looking for someone who embodies:

    • Professionalism and a culture-driven mindset.
    • Motivation and the ability to inspire and lead a team.
    • 2-3 years of experience in managing a specialty coffee store or a similar role in hospitality.
    • Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
    • A deep understanding of specialty coffee, retail, and operational workflows. 
    • Confidence in creating and managing KPIs and performance reports.
    • Proficiency in Square POS, including backend systems.
    • A proactive approach to implementing SOPs and managing inventory efficiently.
    • A passion for customer service, retail upselling, and delivering quality experiences.

    • Cultivate a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, providing attentive and personalized service to create a memorable experience for every customer.
    • Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing strong math skills and attention to detail.
    • Contribute to the overall ambiance of our coffee shop by assisting with tasks such as organizing displays and maintaining an inviting environment.

    Requirements:

    • Proven at least 2 years of hospitality experience, by demonstrating the skills listed below:
    • Able to communicate the profile of coffee origins to customers in a professional manner that is engaging and leading the conversations toward sales.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in informative and enjoyable conversations.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain composure under pressure.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate the needs of our customers.
    • High standards of professionalism, hygiene, and attention to detail.
    • Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a strong work ethic.

    • Able to conduct a TDS reading and adjust brew and extraction variables to develop an excellent coffee tasting.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in informative and enjoyable conversations.

    - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain composure under pressure.

    - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate the needs of our customers.

    - High standards of professionalism, hygiene, and attention to detail.

    - Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a strong work ethic.
