    • Monitor stock and help maintain appropriate inventory levels.
    • Minimise food waste through good preparation, storage and portion control.
    • Support and mentor developing kitchen team members.
    • Take ownership rather than waiting for someone else to solve problems.
    • Contribute to a respectful, organised and positive kitchen environment.

    What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong cooking ability with reliability, organisation and a team-first attitude.

    You will ideally have:

    • Minimum 3 years' professional chef experience.
    • Strong experience in café, breakfast or daytime restaurant kitchens.
    • Confidence working in a high-volume service environment.

    • Excellent food safety and hygiene practices.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy service.
    • Strong communication skills and a respectful approach to teamwork.
    • A willingness to receive feedback and continue developing.
    • An interest in contributing ideas rather than simply following recipes.

Experience with bread, baking or pastry is highly regarded but not essential.

    • Be available to work weekends.
