Named after the French missionaries who introduced this variety to East Africa, French Mission grows particularly abundant on Chania Estate and is plucked by hand come harvest time. Harvest and wet processing are conducted on the estates by the 40-strong permanent labour force, some of whom are second or third-generation employees. This expertise is apparent in this coffee’s exquisite acidity, honey sweetness, and subtle lime zest.
