    Four generations of enterprising farmers have lovingly overseen the coffee production at La Merced, which represents approximately 20% of the Alburez-Ortega family estate. It’s a true honour to source from the heart of Guatemala such a unique Typica-Pache lot. Processed natural, the lot first tested in permeable nylon sacks before sun drying on raised beds for up to 22 days. This duration allows the beans to achieve the perfect moisture content. The reward is a big body cup with rich jammy notes and just enough acidity to balance out the inherent deep, muscatel taste.
