A ‘gimme more’ kind of coffee. You can expect more-ish yuzu notes and brown sugar in this impressive mixed-variety lot from Githembe Factory in Kenya’s Kiambu County. The region’s plentiful rainfall and high altitudes provide the perfect conditions for the slow maturation of coffee cherries. Once packed with natural sweetness, the cherries were harvested by the Thirika Farmers Co-Op before undergoing washed processing and traditional sun-drying on raised African beds. The resulting cup boasts exquisite brightness and compelling fruit flavour.
