This brilliant Ruiru 11-Batian lot comes courtesy of Mara farm, situated a stone’s throw away from the famous wildlife reserve. Since 2019, Mara has become lauded for their natural coffees. To bring out this lot’s inherently tart flavours, whole cherries were sorted, dry fermented, and dried on raised beds. A final pulping and light roast perfected the zingy cup before you now. While lion cubs have yet to be sighted on the farm, Mara does have a nursery program! Albeit, for growing coffee seedlings that Mara gifts to local farmers to encourage future coffee production.
