When the best geisha-growing region on earth parlays with the most innovative coffee lab in the world, you get an exquisite cup that most deliciously defies convention. Jaramillo Estate in Boquete has been in producer Nadeia’s family for two centuries, with Lost Origin helping their coffee reach its full potential.

Namely, the beans are first processed natural before undergoing inoculation in the lab. The introduction of mixed cultures pichia kluyveri and lactobacillus plantarum accentuates bright notes of tropical fruits that perfectly compliment the geisha’s innate orange blossom and hibiscus aroma.

ABOUT LOST ORIGIN
Our Lost Origin limited releases proffer a return to the pursuit of excellent coffee. We’ve partnered with the Lost Origin coffee lab in Panama City to bring home a batch of beans quite like no other. Their team of methodology-minded brew techs take traditionally harvested beans and ferment them with special microorganisms (a process inspired by craft brewery practices) to create brand new coffees bursting with riveting flavour. It’s a breakthrough for the world of coffee processing, and your palate too.
